Privacy policy

Waypoint is a map game made by Eureka Holdings LLC, a New Jersey company. This policy explains what the game collects, why, and the choices you have.

The short version: we collect your email, a leaderboard name and your game results so your progress follows you between devices. We don't sell your data, show ads, or use outside tracking.

What we collect

Email address, only if you join the leaderboard, so the same account works on your phone and computer. You can play without one. It is never shown to other players.
Leaderboard name you choose. Other players see it on the leaderboard.
Why you play (student, teacher, shipping and logistics, travel, or fun), if you choose one.
Game results: scores, which places you've learned, daily game results and the days you played.
Feedback you send from the game.
Error reports: if something in the game breaks, a short technical message with your device type and app version, never your name or email.
Name reports: if you report a leaderboard name, we keep which name you reported so we can review it.
Basic app details: whether you play on the website or the app, your chosen level, and which link brought you to the game (for example, a LinkedIn post).

We don't collect your location, contacts, photos or advertising identifiers.

How we use it

To run the game, save your progress and show the leaderboard.
To understand which parts of the game work and fix what doesn't.
To answer feedback you send.

We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Where it's stored

Game data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, and the game is hosted by Netlify. They process data on our behalf and only to run the service.

Players under 13

Players under 13 can choose to play without an account. In that mode we don't collect an email, a leaderboard name or written feedback. Only anonymous game results are stored.

Deleting your account

Open the Leaderboard screen in the game and tap Delete my account, then tap again to confirm. Your account, email, leaderboard name, scores and game history are deleted right away. Feedback you sent is kept without your name or email attached.
